infiTOF

infiTOFとは

JST大学発ベンチャー創出推進事業で,「MULTUM-S」のイオン光学系を基に実用化を目指して開発した「MULTUM-S II」の技術移転により,大阪大学発ベンチャー「MSI.TOKYO株式会社」を立ち上げて,製品化した装置です.真空排気系や制御系込みでサイズは50 cm × 60 cm × 30 cm以下,重量は35kg以下でありながら,質量分解能は3万以上が達成できる装置です.

小型で高分解能が得られるという特徴を活かし,工場の生産ラインに装置を設置してリアルタイムでガスのモニタリングをするといった用途に使われています.また,大学の研究では,屋外に持ち出してオンサイトでの質量分析も行っています.

現在は電子イオン化(EI)イオン源を有した装置になっていますが,FABやMALDIや大気圧イオン源を有する装置の開発も行っています.
